Four Eggs...

I am SO proud of my son!!! I know in my heart that he knows the real meaning of Easter. I told him a story tonight. There were four Easter eggs. Just like the ones we are going to try to find on Sunday left by the Easter Bunny. The first one had 2 nails in it that made a cross. Jacob told me that it was the nails that went through His feet and hands. The second egg had a white cloth in it. Jacob told me it was the cloth they wrapped Him in when he was dead and taken off the cross. The third egg had a rock in it. Jacob knew it was the rock that was placed in front of the tomb to keep Jesus' body safe. The last egg was empty. Jacob said it was empty because the tomb was empty because JESUS WAS ALIVE!!! I was so happy that he understood this. A child shall lead the way.... as Aunt Lena has always told us!!!
