Well, we got the first report card of the year. In first grade, you only get two. I was very surprised, well not really. Jacob handed it to me with a grin. It was STRAIGHT A's!!! He had one absence and no tardies! Let's just say, his little wallet got a chunk of change for his wonderful work this year, so far!!!
Tonight, he had a little help with his homework. Shadow would not leave him alone. He rubbed on his arm until Jacob would pay some attention to him. Finally, Jacob had to stop what he was doing and give "the old man" some attention. You can actually see him smiling!
