An Apple a Day.....

I was thinking about our pediatrician last night. He has been our family doctor, well let's see, for over thirty years now. When I was a baby, he treated me- all the way up until I was too old to see a pediatrician. When Jason was five years old, he got very sick with Spinal Menengitis. They only gave him a 50% chance of being treated. His mother saw many doctors and on a special day, this YOUNG doctor as she puts it came in to take over. Within days, Jason was well. She still gives praise to him. My boys have been sick on and off, as little kids are, so much over the past year that we have seen more of him than I have wanted to. As always, he gets them feeling much better within a day or two. He almost feels like family to us. Yes, I am talking about Dr. Harmon. We love him. He has been battling cancer for quite some time. He is in and out of treatment but is able to still see his patients most of the time. I hear that the cancer is back and he will hit treatment hard this Summer. I want to add him to our prayer requests as he has been an "angel" to our family. I pray that all goes well with his cancer, treatments, and health in general. God can do anything and I pray that he takes it all away for him. If you could, please lift up, Dr. Harry Harmon, in your daily prayers. Thanks!
